Seat 600 "The car that changed Spain"

This is an issue I wanted to write for a long time, especially after talking about the Abarth 850 TC , but due to lack of time had been missed, but after the brief history Seat I have decided to finish it, hope you like it.

In May 1957, SEAT introduced the first unit of Seat 600. Until that time, the English fleet was poor and very few could afford to buy a car like the Seat 1400, which was considered a luxury at that time. The Seat 600 went to the English market with a competitive price of 65,000 pesetas and although at the time was not an inexpensive car, hit the road with a guaranteed success. Born covered by development plans of the Franco government, intended to be the engine of a Spain that started after opening of the Civil War. In the mid-sixties, with the spectacular growth of the English income, the 600 continued to maintain its price without large increases, so it became a reality for many English families who years before had been unable to afford . The Seat 600 was the engine of the car off the country, the star of mass motorization of the population and the car he learned to drive several generations of English. The rounded shape of its body gave nicknames as popular as "pellet", "Seill" or "balls"
